Position Summary

The Aircraft Maintenance Administrative Assistant is responsible for monitoring and completing work orders, assisting with aircraft conformity, and reviewing aircraft data along with other administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside maintenance control, maintenance managers, and supervisors to ensure that monthly work orders are monitored, reviewed, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Review work orders details to ensure accuracy and margin goals are met.
  • Communicate work order status with management and highlight any critical issues observed.
  • Participate in the month-end closing process and make corrections as necessary.
  • Assist with conformity data collection for new onboarding aircraft.
  • Monitor scheduled events using our aviation management software [FL3XX].
  • Assist with aircraft data audits and tax information.
  • Scan, upload, and attach all documents related to aircraft as needed.
  • Audit work packages for proper tracking and logbook entries.
  • Assist with data entry of company-owned or controlled equipment and tools requiring calibration.
  • Assist with aircraft records inventory.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to operate standard office machines; use personal computers and/or automated accounting systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, set deadlines, and complete projects accordingly.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and execute assigned tasks in a timely and flawless manner.
  • Strong teamwork acumen with a profound ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Perform other duties as required.
