 Position Summary

  • Hybrid Work Schedule
  • Compensation: $75,000 to $100,000
  • Approximately 10% of domestic travel

As a Change Management Specialist, you will contribute to the successful execution of organizational initiatives by facilitating smooth transitions through effective change management strategies. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will design and implement plans that promote employee engagement, minimize resistance, and maximize the adoption of new processes, technologies, or procedures.

The position would have an equal proportion of support for the management and management sales functions.

Overall Responsibilities

  1. Change Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with project leaders to develop comprehensive change management strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders to ensure their involvement, feedback, and support throughout the change process.
  3. Communication Planning: Create clear and tailored communication plans that convey the purpose, benefits, and impacts of changes to various audiences within the organization.
  4. Change Readiness Assessment: Evaluate the organization’s readiness for change, identifying potential challenges and devising strategies to address them effectively.
  5. Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to adapt to new systems, tools, or processes.
  6. Resistance Management: Identify and address sources of resistance through proactive engagement, coaching, and support to foster a culture of acceptance.
  7. Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of change initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of change management plans, progress, and outcomes, and provide regular updates to project teams and leadership.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, HR, and communication departments to integrate change management activities seamlessly into project plans.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices and refine change management methodologies and tools to enhance the overall change management process.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and trends.
  • Project management experience and a track record of working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for communication, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) are advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience. Aviation-specific experience preferred.
