In-Flight Services Lead Ground Attendant

We are currently seeking a strong Lead Ground Attendant to join our In-Flight Services Team. If you are goal-oriented, dedicated, proactive, and enjoy a customer-centric culture, we would be delighted to get to know you better.

 Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Front line client support
  • Lead staff. Assign daily tasks, direct team during their shifts.
  • Train new team members.
  • Assign weekly staffing schedules.
  • Monitor IFS Requests. Coordinate meetings, special requests, etc.
  • Assist with coordination of aircraft initial set-up, diagrams, profiles, etc.
  • Assist Flight Crews and Charter department with departing and arriving aircraft. Check amenities, literature, and specific requests. Ensure all stock is fresh and aircraft is clean.
  • Aircraft audits. Check aircraft for expired stock, organization, and cleanliness. Report any interior blemishes to PIC and/or In-Flight Service managers.
  • Check aircraft coming in/out of maintenance including weight and balance on/offloading of interior items.
  • Inventory aircraft and prepare lists, provide desired amenities.
  • Dry cleaning/laundry. Verify all items returned from the cleaning service are inventoried. Place verified items in their designated storage area.
  • Restock and clean stock room. Shop for necessary items, rotate and organize all amenities, prepare flower arrangements, fruit baskets, and all boarding snacks/baskets.
  • Check all storage areas including aircraft lockers and cages for organization and cleanliness.
  • Handle any last-minute needs for Charter Department, client visits, and aircraft displays.
  • Review policies and procedures.
  • Organize and log daily duties.
  • Keep client and aircraft files organized
  • Cross-train with Customer Service and Line Service
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned
  • Assist with management stockroom inventory

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements

  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Must have and maintain a valid California Drivers License along with a reliable vehicle. Restricted licenses are NOT acceptable for employment at Clay Lacy.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Signing of cabin server manual signature page following CLA introduction training.

Skills and Abilities

  • Able to work in a high pace industry
  • Basic Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred
