Facilities Crewmember | Santa Ana, KSNA

Clay Lacy Aviation is looking for a strong, highly experienced person to join our Facilities Crew for our full-service FBO at John Wayne Airport (KSNA). Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, the individual crew member will safely and effectively perform general, corrective, preventive, and other types of facility maintenance duties. Individual is also responsible for performing custodial duties which include cleaning facilities, removing debris, supplying all areas with necessary materials, and other miscellaneous duties.

This is a full-time position with full benefits. You will be required to work weekends and holidays. Individuals with flexibility in their schedules will be given preference.

  • Maintain the facility in accordance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements or our lease. Demonstrate safe behaviors. Identify and assess safety hazards and risks.
  • You will support the team with employee moves, events, visitors, shipping or receiving, and other related tasks.
  • Ability to walk a large, campus-like setting, climb stairs, work on a ladder, operate electric hand tools, carry tools, lift, and carry heavy loads, operate a motor vehicle, and navigating rooftops to access equipment as required.
  • Identify potential problems and adjust to correct, or otherwise troubleshoot, formulate, and execute solutions for corrective repair.
  • Empty wastebaskets and take out the trash.
  • Wash delicate dishes and put dishes away in cupboards.
  • Keep lobby area for clients clean.
  • Conduct inventory of Office, janitorial, and facility supplies as needed.
  • Escorts guests into the facility.
  • Service and supply bathrooms.
  • Dust tables, wood surfaces, shelves
  • Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
  • Monitor Fire extinguishers monthly and annually.
  • Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
  • Wash company and customer vehicles.
  • Spot check lobby, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Move around heavy equipment and furniture for the purpose of storage or rearranging.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as remodeling, employee lunches and meetings.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Drives company-owned vehicles for miscellaneous tasks and errands.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


High School diploma or equivalent


Experience in facility maintenance, construction or position with similar responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting or pushing less than 50 pounds.
  • Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking, etc., as the job requires.

Environmental conditions

  • Extreme heat or cold.
  • Noise levels may, at times, require normal hearing protection in the form of earplugs.
  • Cleaning fluids are normally used in custodial duties.
