Daniel Murphy

Daniel oversees financial strategy and performance across Clay Lacy’s FBO, maintenance, and real estate business lines. He leads the company’s corporate finance initiatives and teams supporting the company’s continued growth through financial planning, strategic analysis, and evaluation of business and development opportunities.

Prior to becoming CFO, Daniel served as Senior Vice President of Finance, overseeing the financial performance across the company’s aircraft management, charter, FBO, and maintenance business lines and evaluating airport development and acquisition opportunities. Daniel was also Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Clay Lacy where he led a team of finance and accounting professionals, responsible for delivering comprehensive accounting, reporting and analysis for our clients on the performance of their aircraft.

He joined Clay Lacy from a business aviation management and charter company, where he was Director of Corporate Strategy, advising on fleet management strategies and business development initiatives. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BBA in Finance from the College of William & Mary.
