FAQs

Clay Lacy Aviation operates AOG mobile response teams out of four airport bases: Van Nuys, CA (KVNY), Orange County/John Wayne Airport, CA (KSNA), Waterbury-Oxford, CT (KOXC), and Seattle/Boeing Field, WA (KBFI). These locations provide regional coverage to support AOG events across Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, and the Northeast corridor.

Our AOG maintenance team and schedulers are available by calling +1.818.946.3700. You can also submit a request online at claylacy.com/aircraft-maintenance/aog. We’ll respond promptly to your AOG request.

Response time varies depending on aircraft location, technician availability, and parts requirements. Clay Lacy’s maintenance team quickly evaluates each AOG situation to coordinate troubleshooting and dispatch a mobile technician. Our priority is minimizing downtime and helping operators return aircraft to service as efficiently as possible.

Our mobile AOG teams can drive up to 350 miles from each of our base locations to reach your aircraft. From KVNY and KSNA, that covers the greater Southern California region, Northern California and select Southwest cities. From KOXC, we serve Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, and surrounding Northeast states. From KBFI, we cover the greater Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest.

Our AOG teams have also flown to support special remote missions across North America, Mexico, and Alaska. Contact our team to see if we can be of assistance.

Our most commonly serviced airports include:

Southern/Central California: Van Nuys (KVNY), Orange County (KSNA), Carlsbad (KCRQ), San Diego (KSAN), Palm Springs (KPSP), Fresno (KFAT), Santa Barbara (KSBA)

Northern California: San Jose (KSJC), Monterey (KMRY)

Southwest: Las Vegas (KLAS), Phoenix (KPHX)

Northeast: Bedford (KBED), Hartford (KBDL), Stewart (KSWF), Teterboro (KTEB), White Plains (KHPN)

Pacific Northwest: Boeing Field (KBFI), Seattle-Tacoma (KSEA), Paine Field (KPAE), Gig Harbor/Tacoma Narrows (KTIW), Portland/Hillsboro (KHIO)

Clay Lacy Aviation’s Part 145 Repair Station at Van Nuys Airport is also an Embraer Authorized Service Center.

Yes. Clay Lacy Aviation operates FAA Part 145 Repair Stations at both Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) and Waterbury-Oxford Airport (KOXC), providing the regulatory authority and documentation standards required for return-to-service sign-off. Our mobile AOG teams operate as an extension of those repair stations, ensuring full compliance whether work is performed in our hangar or at your remote location.

Our AOG technicians travel with specialized tooling and commonly needed parts for the aircraft types we support. For aircraft-specific components, our parts and rotables team at both our Van Nuys and Oxford facilities can quickly source and expedite shipping to your location. We coordinate the logistics so your team can stay focused on the operation.

Yes. We work alongside major maintenance programs including JSSI, Honeywell MSP, Rockwell Collins CASP, Rolls-Royce CorporateCare, Embraer Executive Care, and others.
