
Doug Wilson
Doug Wilson serves as Chief Business Officer, FBO at Clay Lacy Aviation, where he leads the company’s Fixed Base Operator division with a focus on operational excellence, outstanding service, and financial performance. He is responsible for ensuring the company’s values are reflected in day-to-day interactions while implementing standardized processes and best practices across all FBO locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a world-class experience for clients.
Doug brings more than two decades of leadership in business aviation, with expertise in FBO operations, customer service, safety, training, airport and community relations, and strategic development. He has provided expert advisory services to FBOs and investors on a broad range of topics including hangar development, pricing models, service standards, transactional due diligence, and operational performance. Throughout his career, Doug has managed full P&L responsibilities, developed national training programs, and directed integration efforts across domestic and international aviation facilities.
A private pilot, aircraft owner, and published industry contributor, Doug has written extensively on FBO management, airport development, and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University and maintains memberships with the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
