Clay Lacy is considered one of the top aerial cinematographers in the world by his peers in both aviation and film. In 1965, he first became involved in aerial photography and the development of the camera system known today as Astrovision. Clay Lacy’s Astrovision-equipped aircraft have filmed over 2,800 projects for the military, general aviation, airlines, television and feature films worldwide. Celebrated for such films as Top Gun, Armageddon, Cliffhanger and more, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004 by the Society of Camera Operators.  Clay Lacy has been recognized by both the Screen Actors & Directors Guild’s for his achievements and contributions to aerial cinematography.
