Putting our strategy to work.

We facilitate a carbon offset program that supports premium sustainability projects worldwide. Clay Lacy aircraft management and FBO clients can offset 100 percent of their CO2 emissions for just pennies per gallon of fuel purchased. And the environmental benefits add up fast.

What are carbon offsets for business jets?

More than 30,000 square feet of solar panels at our Los Angeles headquarters dramatically reduces our carbon footprint. To further cut energy consumption we have installed hundreds of efficient LED light fixtures, as well as 40 electric vehicle charging stations.

Clay Lacy Aviation’s facilities have been carbon neutral since 2019, and we were the first company certified to the National Air Transportation Association’s (NATA) Sustainability Standard for Aviation Businesses. We are also the world’s first company to be independently reviewed and rated Facility Green Level by 4AIR, affirming Clay Lacy’s FBO facilities and ground emissions lead industry level standards and meet carbon neutrality.

From greenhouse gas reduction to energy and water conservation to hazardous waste and materials reductions, we continue to meet requirements for local and national recognition.

As a leader in our industry and member of the National Business Aviation Association and National Air Transport Association, we actively support the development and adoption of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).  We are proud to offer SAF at all of our FBO locations.

As we continue to grow, adding FBOs, maintenance operations, hangar and office space nationwide, we will incorporate sustainable practices in the building and operation of these new facilities.

Sharing our vision for the future.

These initiatives are only the beginning, an expression of the vision, mission and values that have built our company since 1968. We look forward to sharing the results of our progress toward a cleaner future.
